The design of your project will be affected by personal considerations combined with natural and technical factors. Once the decision is made to start your project plan, the next important decision is for the owner to develop a clear understanding of how it will be used. How you and your family will use it are personal considerations that are factored into the design.
Natural factors include the size and shape of your lot. The terrain of your lot and the maximum sun angle are also important natural factors.
Technical factors include whether your home is on a sewer line or septic tank. The location of easements and rights-of-way (both above and below ground) for gas, water, phone and electric service must also be considered. For these reasons we asked that you have a copy of your survey available when we start the design of your project.
